Vriska uses a 131/8 inch wand made from Hemlock Wood. It's core contains Acromantula Silk, which fits with her spider theme. The wand is inflexible, making it useful for power powerful spells and curses. The wood is polished and the handle displays a decorative spider-webbing silver inlay. There are a total of eight silver rings from the base to the main shaft.
Pet
Vriska has a spider as her pet; not the most common! She is a female Cobalt Blue Tarantula (Haplopelma lividum), an Old World Spider that hail from Southeast Asia. (This one was imported from Thailand, specifically.) Her name is Vrăjitora, from the noun vrăjitor in Romanian (her native tongue), which means necromancer, conjuror, or even a charming person. Ironically, these spiders are known for being extremely aggressive, secretive, and very quick. Her leg-span reaches 5 inches, and unlike most tarantulas, her venom is quite potent.
Vrăjitora was originally charmed by Vriska's mother as a part of her spider collection, but Vriska took a particular liking to her. After working with her for a few years, she has been chosen as a sort of familiar and really only trusts Vriska. She can be fed by hand, but spends most of her time burrowed in her habitat next to Vriska's bed, or hiding in her robes. One of her favorite things to do is pop out at the most inopportune moment and scare the living daylights out of someone. Vriska particularly enjoys this too. She likes to talk to her spider when she has trouble sleeping. Vrăjitora occasionally likes to make webs in Vriska's hair that can be quite annoying to wash out.
Vriska has, a few times, gotten Vrăjitora to hang out or recruit other spiders for fun, such as building a miniature army of arachnids for miniature conquest or invasion of another student's personal property, but more often than not she just ends up eating them.

As a Beater in the Slytherin Quidditch Team, Vriska received a Nimbus 2001 Racing Broom from her mother, but only after whining and some idle threats. Most likely she received it just to be shut up.
